Salut!’s little sites – Salut!, Salut! Live and Salut! North - hardly amount to an empire, even once you add the much bigger and more widely read Salut! Sunderland.
If I have been known to use the term, please be assured it was with light-hearted intent.
There is plenty to read at all four sites and plenty of people take the trouble to visit them. On a good day, they can attract a combined readership well into four figures (Salut! Sunderland has on occasion received 5-7,000 hits on its own account for a single article). Fair so say there are slower days when the aggregate is down in the low hundreds and Salut! Live/Salut! North both plod on with daily numbers down in low double figures except when there is reason to promote something that appears there).
But there are always just enough to make it all seem worthwhile. The sites have other uses, professionally, with which I will not bore you but you can safely assume they would not exist unless they seemed to have a purpose.
So mighty thanks to all who feel it is worth visiting one or more of my sites, however often and for however long.
I have decided to repeat this message at Salut!, Salut! Live and Salut! North while offering something a little different at Salut! Sunderland.But what it boils down to in all four cases, in our deeply troubled world, is this:
